Want to be part of a delivery team at a young and innovative charity?
Have you got a real passion for our values?
Then read on…
User Voice is at a really exciting point in our development as we continue to grow and we are looking for an experienced individual to join the South East team working in Hampshire & Isle of Wight primarily in prisons but also in the community among a group of diverse, talented individuals.
User Voice’s core belief is that rehabilitation only happens when everyone in the criminal justice system shares responsibility for transforming the ‘us vs. them’ division into real collaboration.
At User Voice we build the structures that enable productive collaboration between service users and service providers. We are able to do this because our work is led and delivered by ex-offenders. This gives us the special ability to gain the trust of, access to, and insight from people within the criminal justice system.
We are seeking to recruit Engagement Team Members for our South East team, who will be ultimately responsible for using their personal experience to motivate and inspire people primarily in prison, to get involved and use their voice.
We particularly welcome applications from ex-offenders (especially those who have served a custodial sentence) and from all sections of the community regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, age or disability.
Find the full job description, person specification and application details here: Engagement Team Member JD & Person Spec March 2017
Applicants should send a CV and a statement of their suitability outlining their experience against each point of the Person Specification to User Voice, 20 Newburn Street, London, SE11 5PJ or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Deadline for applications: 30th April 2018
This position is also open to Permitted Earners on Employment Support Allowance who are ex-offenders and have served a custodial sentence. (Permitted earners can work only 14.5 hours a week)
There is extensive travelling involved in most of our roles – This will be discussed during interview
