Impact case study for Essex Peer Mentoring Programme

User Voice took unique role in innovative scheme

In 2015, when the Community Rehabilitation Company brought in their own mentoring scheme, User Voice was commissioned to establish a Peer Mentoring Programme for service users on orders or license with Essex Probation.

Over three years, User Voice supported 52 peer mentors to successfully complete advanced level training. Twelve peer mentors then participated in work experience as case support workers, and seven gained full-time employment with the Essex Community Rehabilitation Company.

User Voice recently met up with one of these peer mentors to discuss the impact this programme had on his life. Read the full Essex Peer Mentorship Case Study.
