Our Work with HM Inspectorate of Probation: voices of people on probation
We are User Voice, a charity set-up and run by people who have been in prison and on probation. HM Inspectorate of Probation has appointed User Voice to work with them to ensure People on Probation have a greater say in the upcoming inspections.
We want you, somebody who is currently on probation, to be the voice of People on Probation in your area. Having your say will have a direct impact on the inspection of your local probation office. The findings from the report will be used to make changes for the better to your probation experience.
It doesn’t matter if you’re having a good experience of probation, a bad experience, or somewhere in the middle – we want to hear from you.
In the coming weeks, you will receive a text from HMIP with a link to complete a survey about your probation experience.
At User Voice we respect your privacy. The process is completely anonymous, we will never give your name to the Inspectorate or to the Probation Service, and we will not use it in our reports. Have a read of our privacy policy here: User Voice Privacy Policy
