Prior to prison, Brendan worked as a successful, multi award-winning publican. He worked for a number of large pub chains, managing a team of 40 staff in a business turning over £1.2 Million a year.
Post prison, Brendan has worked in the charity sector, progressing from volunteer at an Alternative to Custody project at Essex Probation, to his current role of COO at User Voice.
Brendan joined User Voice in 2014 as a front- line worker, progressing through to regional management and to a valued member of the senior leadership team, even stepping into the Interim CEO position recently whilst the charity recruited.
As COO at User Voice, Brendan manages the delivery arm of the organisation, using his years of experience to help further develop the organisation, and more importantly, the staff that work for us, making sure that opportunities for progression from volunteer into paid employment exist within User Voice.
