OUR strategy for 2025 - 2028
We are excited to share our new strategy. Working in genuine collaboration with people with convictions, service providers, charities, commissioners and policy makers to create a justice system that truly serves everyone.
Our key strategic priorities are:
1) INSPIRING PEOPLE WITH CONVICTIONS BY PROVIDING A RANGE OF OPPORTUNITIES TO PLAY A KEY ROLE IN IMPROVING THE JUSTICE SYSTEM
Leading our independent Prison Councils to co-create solutions along with prison staff and leading consultations and research to support local and national leaders to utilise lived experience to shape lasting change
2) SUPPORTING AND DEVELOPING LEADERS WITH LIVED EXPERIENCE OF THE JUSTICE SYSTEM WHO MEANINGFULLY CONTRIBUTE TO THE RESHAPING OF PRISONS
Supporting ambitions through the development of a range of innovative skills and personal growth training courses and practical support including volunteering and paid opportunities at User Voice, and in the wider community
3) TRANSFORMING THE CRIMINAL JUSTICE SYSTEM THROUGH INFLUENCING POLICY AND PRACTICE TO CREATE A SAFER SOCIETY
Collaborating with others with a shared belief in the power of both prevention and rehabilitation to create a more effective justice system
