VACANCY Research and Evaluation Officer

Part-time, Greater London (Hybrid)

User Voice is looking for a Research and Evaluation Officer to support our Lead Researcher in delivering peer-led research, consultation and evaluation projects, working alongside people with lived experience to gather insight, assess impact and influence policy, improve services and drive system change across criminal justice and interrelated issues such as homelessness and addiction. 
 
The Research & Evaluation Officer will play a key role in designing and delivering research activities, supporting peer researchers, analysing qualitative and quantitative data, measuring impact, and producing high-quality reports and recommendations for commissioners, funders and stakeholders.
 
The post holder will help ensure that the voices and experiences of people affected by the criminal justice system are captured, understood and translated into meaningful change. This role will assist the Lead Researcher by focusing on project delivery, evaluation and research implementation rather than strategic leadership.

Terms & Conditions

  • Part-time
    • 24 hours per week (3 days)
  • Permanent 
  • £32- 35k (pro-rata for part time)
  • Bank holidays plus 25 days holiday (pro-rata for part time)
  • Location: Greater London (Hybrid) – regular time in Vauxhall office required
  • Probationary period: Six months
