Our new initiative, The Bridge Hub by User Voice, generously funded by City Bridge Foundation is getting ready to launch at our London office in Vauxhall.
Co-created with people with convictions, The Bridge Hub is a unique resource supporting people leaving prison. Working alongside Prisons, Probation and the Voluntary Sector, it will harness the desire of so many people in the justice system to give back to their communities through volunteering; providing structure, purpose, skills development and confidence building.
The Hub will also offer a holistic and connected service by partnering with a range of support organisations across London.
The project concept came from our own experience of doing something positive whilst in custody, and when released, not having the chance to continue doing this in the community. That’s why we are so pleased to be launching the Bridge Hub, providing a range of inspiring opportunities for people to positively contribute across London.
We will be announcing the formal opening of the hub soon on this page – keep an eye out for further details.

Co Run the Bridge Hub
At User Voice we put lived experience of the justice system at the centre of making it work better for everyone. The Bridge Hub will offer a range of great opportunities, but first we need your help.
We are looking for people leaving prison or on probation to co run the Hub alongside us. By volunteering to co run the Hub you will be creating a brand-new resource where many other people with convictions will really benefit.
As part of co running the Hub you will get:
- Comprehensive training to up skill yourself, including confidence building, leadership skills, mentoring and IT.
- Paid for travel and lunch.
- Really valuable experience as a Hub leader that you can use to help with your journey out of the justice system.
Are you a support organisation in London?
To make the Hub as impactful as possible, we also want to collaborate with London based expert support services, to make sure we have the right signposting/support in place for the many other needs of people in the justice system.
