Between 2016 and 2019, User Voice collaborated with University College London on the Mentalization for Offending Adult males trial (MOAM) exploring the effect of Mentalization based therapy for male offenders with anti-social personality disorder.
MOAM was the first clinical trial to be conducted in the national probation service and we are proud to have played a role in the implementation of this study.
The trial protocol included the involvement of User Voice peer researchers as data collectors, and we collaborated with Elizabeth Simes and the team at UCL to explore the impact of lived experience on the clinical trial.
