FUNDRAISING PARTNERSHIPS MANAGER
Location: London/ Online
Salary: Up to £40,000 depending on experience plus London weighting (if applicable)
Contract Type: Permanent, full time
Holiday: 25 days per annum plus public holidays
Probationary period: The post is subject to a six-month probationary period
User Voice works to reduce offending by presenting the voice of the most marginalised people in and around the Criminal Justice System to decision makers.
We are looking for a dynamic and industrious Fundraising Partnerships Manager to build relationships with criminal justice system and third sector stakeholders to ensure that User Voice is at the forefront of criminal justice reform. Role
Reporting to the senior leadership, the Fundraising Partnerships Manager serves as a key team member and an active participant in making strategic decisions affecting User Voice.
The Fundraising Partnerships Manager will own and drive new partnerships while building upon User Voice’s relationships with stakeholders in the Ministry of Justice, Police, NHS, and charity sector. They will also design and implement a comprehensive plan for developing key external alliances by cultivating contractual income and philanthropic support.
The selected candidate must have excellent knowledge of charity fundraising and will have demonstrable experience of managing, building, and negotiating multiple relationships. They will have examples of excellent external stakeholder relationship management and will be a confident networker with good influencing and negotiation skills.
Responsibilities
- Support and partner with senior staff and Trustees on all major fundraising initiatives
- Collaborate with senior staff to develop and implement User Voice’s financial strategy
- Actively work with senior staff to develop and implement a comprehensive development strategy to include commissioners, corporates, high net worth individuals and foundations.
- Oversee research funding sources and trends, with foresight, to help position User Voice ahead of major funding changes or trends
- Monitor all donor information; provide and present statistical analysis to the Board and the Senior Management Team.
- Develop and implement a stewardship program aimed at cultivating deeper ties with clients and donors.
- Monitor and report regularly on the progress of the development program.
- Lead on external relationships with commissioners, funders and donors.
- Track trends within the criminal justice sector to ensure that User Voice is a key stakeholder in sector reform.
