We are a user-led organisation working with and for people with lived experience of the criminal justice system. We drive lived experience to the centre of the system.
Our work is led by people with lived experience of prison or probation and our research is designed and conducted by Peer Researchers. We use what we find to influence and implement change within the system.
We have employed over 300 people with lived experience, many of whom have gone on to work within the sector.
Ultimately, the Service User’s voice is at the heart of everything we do.
We speak with those entrenched in the criminal justice system, giving them the opportunity to have their voices heard and amplify the voices of others. It’s not just about saying something, it’s about empowering people to do something themselves.
In addition to the above duties, the post holder will be required to perform other duties, which are assigned from time to time. However, such other duties will be reasonable in relation to the individual’s skills, abilities and grade.
