The Board of Trustees are delighted to announce that Simon Boddis will be returning to User Voice as Interim CEO.
Simon has over 30 years of experience within the criminal justice sector; working in prisons and then holding a number of different roles including being the Executive Director for prisons and probation in Wales and leading the Prison Reform Programme.
Simon originally joined User Voice in 2019 as Chief Operations Officer and then moved into the role of Chief Operating Officer resigning due to cancer. Simon returned as User Voice’s Managing Director in 2022 becoming interim Chief Executive Officer earlier in 2023 – a role that the Board have recently re-confirmed.
He re-joins at an exciting time for User Voice and will be working closely with the Board and Leadership Team to formulate a new Strategy for the organisation so that it can do even more to support those who are or have been in the criminal justice system.
Simon Boddis said: “I’m delighted to be returning and carrying on working at User Voice. The importance of lived experience in the Criminal Justice System has never been more relevant in helping to provide answers and solutions to services under significant stress.”
